potentiometer
The potentiometer is a resistance element having three terminals and the resistance value can be adjusted according to a certain variation rule. Potentiometers usually consist of a resistor and a movable brush. When the brush moves along the resistor body, a resistance value or voltage which is in a certain relationship with the displacement amount is obtained at the output terminal.
