Fan
A fan is a mechanical device that uses a flowing airflow for cooling (air-cooling), usually used with a heat sink or cooling fin to improve heat dissipation. Since the performance of solid state relays is greatly affected by temperature, high-power solid-state relays (such as industrial type solid state relays) must be equipped with a cooling fan.
