Zero Crossing Circuit

The Zero Crossing circuit will get the detection signal from the detection circuit, and then when the AC voltage wave of the load passes through the zero position, the state of switching component is gently switched to minimize the loss of the output thyristor to extend the life of the thyristor. The zero-crossing circuit and the detecting circuit form the zero-crossing detecting circuit, and the input control signal of the zero-crossing detecting circuit needs to be isolated from the load signal to avoid signal interference. The isolation mode is normally divided into transformer isolation and optocoupler isolation.

The solid state relay with zero-crossing circuit is called the zero-crossing solid state relay.
