Transformer Secondary

Transformer Secondary, or the secondary winding refers to the winding in the transformer that is not directly connected to the AC power source. The voltage on this winding is induced by electromagnetic induction to provide the required AC voltage to the DC power supply. A power transformer can have several secondary windings to increase isolation between multiple electronic devices (circuits) that use the electrical power.
