Thyristor
The thyristor, also known as thyristor rectifier, or Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR), whose structure is PNPN four-layer semiconductor structure with three poles: anode, cathode and control pole. Thyristor has the characteristics of silicon rectifier device, and its working process can be controlled. Thyristor can be used under the high voltage and high current conditions, and widely used in many application, like controllable rectification, AC voltage regulation, non-contact electronic switch, inverter and frequency conversion, etc.
