Introduction

MGR-Y Series Single Channel DIN-Rail Mount Solid State Relay uses the standard DIP-8 (Double In-line Package 8 pins) configuration, which can be directly mounted on the PCB board, or can be mounted to the standard symmetrical DIN rail(35 mm wide) through the DIN rail base. MGR-Y series can be divided into the MGR-5DD-Y series DC to DC DIN-Rail mount solid state relay and the MGR-5DA-Y series DC to AC DIN-Rail mount solid state relay.

Application

● Various commercial and industrial equipment that requires an electronic switch, especially but not limited to air conditioners, balers, household appliances, heating or cooling equipment, professional food equipment, medical machines, remote control system, automotive, lighting system, motion control system, numerical control machinery.
● High power density, low mounting density (limited installation space), no additional heat sink required.

Precautions and FAQs

● What are the differences between Panel mount SSR and DIN-Rail mount SSR?
The panel type solid state relay (or device type, screw mounting type) needs to be fixed on a metal base plate or a heat sink, and is cooled by a heat sink or an air-cooled radiator. The DIN-rail solid state relay has the industry standard pin configurations, and can be mounted directly to the Printed Circuit Board, or be installed on the DIN rail through the DIN rail mount base. The DIN rail type SSR takes the natural cooling as heat dissipation without the need for a heat sink. The DIN type SSR has a smaller mounting size and a larger power density than the panel type.
